Ana Lisa Carr, MD, MBA, is the founder and chief medical officer of Ringside Health, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her roles. She is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician, B.E. in Addiction medicine (ASAM) and Obesity Medicine (AAOM) and enjoys working with patients at Ringside Health in Wellington, Florida and virtually across all 50 states through Ringside Health's Virtual Platform
Dr. Carr holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, a doctoral degree from St. George's University in Bayshore NY, and a Physician Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
Dr. Carr completed her family medicine residencies at the University of Virginia in Charlotsville, Virginia, WSU Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident, and was trained in Addiction Medicine from 2017-2021 when she served as faculty and staff at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in the department of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Carr currently works in Addiction Medicine, Metabolic Wellness, Production Medicine and Primary Care. Dr. Carr has spent the last 5 years traveling for vasious productions onsite in NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, March Madness, the NFL, PGA Master tournaments and over the last 4 years in reality TV where she has traveled the world along cast and crew for filming while serving as the onsite medical doctor.
Licensed in all 50 states and fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Carr is actively involved in multiple professional organizations across Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Alabama. Her diverse expertise spans clinical practice, teaching, administration and business understanding, family medicine, obesity medicine and addiction medicine, making her a distinguished leader in her field.
